William Yale Bass/Guitar/Producer
In the early 90s, Mr. Yale was involved in various experimental projects: A gospel-jazz group, a reggae-dub group and several jazz outfits. In 1993, he formed the ambiant-dance freakout duo Space Farm, with excellent response in Europe. He then moved to Boulder from New York City and quickly became involved in the acid-jazz scene working with the famed Sol-Jazz Massive and the NARX (seeding present-day UDF). William has also recorded with guitarist/composer Farell Lowe (of the Ron Miles Group), Heuristic Ensemble and has acted as engineer/producer out of Studio Roble (his own, based in Boulder) with such acts as Cabaret Diosa, our own SoulWave and most recently on the Heavy G and the Boogaloo Communicators sessions ("Makin It Happen"). Mr. Yales recording approach, musicality and mindset are what Cuzone is all about.
